History
The abbey was founded in 783 by Roger, count of Limoges. In 11th century the church was being rebuild with a total length of 114m.
Description
Vestiges of the ancient benedictine abbey built in 11th century. Preserved from that period is besides the foundation walls mainly the octagonal tower.
Nowadays there is a small museum located in the chapter house showing some gothic reliefs and romanesque works of art.
