History
The abbey was originally built in 9th century by benedictines from Moissac. The main buildings of the romanesque era were built in 12th century. The gothic church being preserved was constructed in 15th century.
Description
From the romanesque era only rests of the nave and the chapter house with it's capitals are conserved. The tympanum on the southern portal is of carolingian origin.
